Add some sort of 'news'-feed. Maybe a feed of social media accounts of important people creating things 'superhero'.

Make it so u can select groups in fights (avengers, justice leaugue, van der linde gang) so u dont have to add each specific character. And as a bonus instead of the fight being called for example "team ironman vs team batman) it wil now be called by the group name so "avengers vs justice league"
