Which characters should join James Gunn's DCU?

That DC fans hate James Gunn

I think The New Gods should get there chance on the big screen. It be kinda like a mixture of Marvel's Eternals and Gurdians of the Galaxy plus world building elements of other Sci-Fi films like Star Wars and Dune they could for New Genesis and Apokilips.There's also so many characters DC could adapt like Orion, Bekka, Lightray, Mister Miracle, Big Barda, Metron, and the Highfather. Plus Darkseid could appear as the villain for the film. I hope James Gunn adapts the New Gods and even get Ava DuVernay to direct it because it could something new and different for the DC movies.
