Vorrath The Forsaken's History

Vorrath was once one of the most powerful beings in Xytherra, rivaling even Ithryx in his knowledge of the Void. In the early days of creation, Vorrath attempted to use the power of the Void to reshape Xytherra in his own image, believing he could bring perfect order where Ithryx had brought only chaos. However, the more he delved into the Void, the more it consumed him, corrupting his soul and turning him into a half-phantom being.

In an ancient battle between Ithryx and Vorrath, Ithryx trapped Vorrath in the Shattered Veil, a liminal space between the fractured worlds and the Void. Here, Vorrath was cursed to remain, eternally guarding the rifts that connected the Void to the fractured worlds of Xytherra. Though bound to this fate, Vorrath holds a grudge against Ithryx for cursing him, though he cannot challenge the cosmic being outright.

Relationship to Ithryx:

The Rivalry: Vorrath sees Ithryx as both his creator and jailer. While Vorrath wields immense power over the Void, Ithryx remains the supreme being, constantly keeping Vorrath in check. Though they do not openly clash, their rivalry is a subtle yet intense power struggle, with Vorrath quietly working against Ithryx’s plans from within the shadows.
