Vaggie's History

Past

Little is known about Vaggie's past, except that she was an angel and at some point an Exorcist. During one of the Exterminations, she allowed a sinner to escape her in an alley. This caused her fellow exorcist, Lute, to cut out Vaggie's left eye, rip off her wings, and left her in Hell in the same alley.

Some time after being left in Hell, Vaggie met Charlie Morningstar, who bandaged over her missing eye and helped her, but kept her exorcist history a secret. A fairly long time prior to the events of the pilot, Vaggie and Charlie were really good friends for a while and in a natural progression mutual feelings developed between them, and their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship where they became a couple.

Two weeks prior to the pilot, Vaggie and Charlie went out to find someone who would be willing to become the first resident of the Happy Hotel.

After a while of searching, they came across Angel Dust prostituting himself on the streets. After Charlie payed him to listen to them, Vaggie became increasingly frustrated with Angel due to his personality and demeanour. After she explained to Angel the purpose of the hotel, Angel simply made fun of the idea and didn’t take it seriously. Frustrated with him, Vaggie suggested to Charlie that he was no good to them. Angel suddenly changed his mind and told them that he was the best choice they got

Hazbin Hotel pilot

After the most recent extermination, Vaggie and Charlie go to introduce the Happy Hotel on Katie Killjoy’s news show to the viewers and all of Hell. Vaggie expressed doubt on the plan and made Charlie promise not to sing during the broadcast. When the show went back on air, Vaggie supported Charlie during the broadcast and even punched out a cameraman .
