Valerius Stroker

The Librarian's History

Valerius Stoker was born in **Vereis**, a forgotten town in Eastern Europe, to a family of scholars. Growing up in a home filled with rare manuscripts and ancient texts, he developed a profound fascination with knowledge at an early age. The town itself, once a hub of intellectual exchange, had fallen into obscurity following political upheavals, leaving only remnants of its rich history.

From childhood, Valerius was surrounded by books, and it was in their pages that he found a world more captivating than the one around him. He spent his early years devouring every text he could find—philosophy, history, science, magic, and more. His obsession grew as he realized that knowledge was the key to everything: power, influence, and control. He believed that by understanding the world completely, he could bend it to his will.

As he grew older, Valerius became known as a brilliant scholar, but his obsession with knowledge soon transformed into something darker. He began to see how easily information could be manipulated, how history could be rewritten, and how knowledge could be used to control others. The idea of free thought disturbed him—he believed that only a select few should have access to the full truth, and the masses should be guided by the "proper" information.

In his pursuit of power, Valerius sought out the most ancient and forbidden texts. He uncovered the secret of the **Great Library**, a hidden and mystical repository containing every book ever written, and the forgotten knowledge of all civilizations. He made it his life’s mission to control this library, to make it his fortress, and to ensure that it became the central source of all knowledge in the world. The library became his kingdom, and its endless corridors of books were his domain.

With his newfound access to this vast storehouse of information, Valerius’s influence grew. He learned to manipulate the library’s magical systems, and through them, he gained control over all forms of knowledge and communication. Using this power, he began to reshape the world, subtly guiding society’s thoughts and ideas through censorship and propaganda. He created his own narrative, rewriting history to suit his ideals, erasing those who spoke against him, and promoting only the ideas that aligned with his vision.

As The Librarian, Valerius created a dystopia where knowledge was no longer a tool for enlightenment, but a weapon for control. The library became his throne, and he became the supreme ruler of all knowledge. Those who defied him were silenced or erased, their existence forgotten by all. He used his control over information to spread his propaganda, making sure the world only saw the truth as he defined it.

The Librarian’s rule is absolute. He sees himself as the guardian of truth, believing that only by controlling what people know can true order be achieved. To him, knowledge is power—and power is everything. He uses his vast intellect and his mastery over information to manipulate and control society, creating a world where only those who conform to his narrative are allowed to thrive. Those who resist him are either trapped in his labyrinthine library or erased from history entirely.

In his mind, he is not a tyrant, but a savior, guiding humanity toward a perfect, orderly world. A world where only the "right" knowledge is allowed to exist, and where he alone determines what that knowledge is.
