Tenma Sakaki's History

Tenma Sakaki is a central character in the manga series Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi. He is the founder and owner of the Gates of Hell Chinese restaurant, established five years prior to the series’ start due to his passion for Chinese cuisine. The restaurant quickly became a local hotspot, known for its quality food and unique atmosphere.

In addition to his culinary pursuits, Tenma is a highly skilled exorcist. He holds the rank of Grand Cross and is a former Cross Paladin, positions that signify his exceptional abilities and esteemed status within the exorcist community.

Tenma’s commitment to exorcism is further demonstrated through his management of the Naraku Branch of the Exorcist Association. This branch operates out of his restaurant and serves as a base for exorcist activities. Tenma’s leadership in this branch reflects his dedication to combating demonic forces.

A significant aspect of Tenma’s backstory involves Kiyoshi Harai, the series’ protagonist. When Kiyoshi was a young boy, Tenma saved him from an unspecified incident. This act of rescue led Kiyoshi to work under Tenma as a chef and exorcist at the Gates of Hell restaurant, highlighting Tenma’s role as a mentor and protector.
