not voted It's important to note that MVC Magneto was blazingly fast(major upgrade from the comics), a decent fighter, and magnetically quite powerful, but he never chose to use magnetism directly on a metallic foe or weapon like he would in all other depictions of him. Regardless of his opponent, he chose to use his blasts, fighting ability, and/or speed--as if he was somehow impressed by his newfound speed and fighting prowess.
