Synthas's History

Like some other humans who have slowly revealed themselves to have some form of superhuman abilities after the star flash, Amy Wexler found herself to be one of them.

Watching the sky every day since her long time boyfriend Mark Mithion left on yet another space mission for NASA, Amy was absolutely terrified when the star flash occurred and the news started reporting that the International Space Station was completely vaporized. Amy sat in a government facility for days in complete horror with no hope of ever seeing the love of her life again.

To her absolute and complete shock Mark returned one day, flying down from space….with absolutely insane god-like powers. Since that day the Earth has become a hot spot for cosmic threats, many that attack Earth and sometimes are too many in number for Mark to handle alone. A few other heroes emerged in time to aide and Amy found herself wanting to help as well.

Ten years as a Marine gave Amy the conditioning and drive to overcome anything but she knew she was no match for the type of threats Mark and the others were dealing with. Her only hope was trying to be selected for the new Warborn program but with a non-selection rate of 99% her chances were slim.

After a few months of being with Mark as much as possible Amy soon started to realize that he was rubbing off on her. Speaking with Ridian and Artifex, Mark and Amy realized that she had developed vast magical abilities of her own and was becoming stronger by the day. It seemed that simply being with Mark all the time had ignited superhuman abilities that she could now use to help protect Earth.

Choosing the name Synthas, she has become one of the most powerful protectors of humanity from the numerous threats Earth now faces.
