- Variants - The Star Destoryer came in 3 distinct configurations:
- Imperial I - The Imperial I was equipped with 60 heavy turbolaser batteries, 60 ion cannons, 6 dual heavy turbolaser turrets, 2 dual heavy ion cannon turrets, 2 quad heavy turbolasers, 3 triple medium turbolasers, 4 medium turbolasers and 10 tractor beam projectors. It also typically carried a compliment of 48 TIE/ln fighters, 12 TIE/sa bombers and 12 TIE/in Interceptors.
- Imperial II - The Imperial II was equipped with 60 turbolaser batteries, 60 heavy ion cannon emplacements, 8 octuple turbolaser barbettes, 6 dual concussion missile launchers and 10 heavy tractor beam projectors. It also typically carried a compliment of 48 TIE/ln fighters, 12 TIE/sa bombers and 12 TIE/in Interceptors.
- Interdictor - The Interdictor carried only turbolasers and no hangar with the 4 gravity well projectors taking up the majority of the vessel's interior and power supply. This technology allowed the Interdictor to pull ships out of hyperspace and prevent them from jumping to hyperspace.
