During the events of House of M, Scarlet Witch thought she lost all her kids due to Mephisto absorbing them back. While everyone thought she only had Two, they were mistaken. Billy and Tommy were reincarnated Later on.
But, during the The Hex, Scarlet Witch created her own timeline and reality, where she created another child, in hopes to replace Billy and Tommy, but when this reality was revealed as false. Scarlet Witch closed it, her daughter disappeared..or so she thought.
Cnthon wanted another scarlet witch, someone he could easily control, hoping to curse this child, he would not let the child go. She was way to valuable, instead he locked her essence in the destroyed reality. When a wormhole appeared to suck in everything from that reality. Her essence escaped, and The daughter�??s essence ended up in the hell dimension, with Mephisto. Mephisto was aware that there was a new essence, one who was pretty powerful.
Cnthon was not happy with this. He wanted �??his daughter�?? back, when Morgan Le Fey got her hands on the dark hold, she unleashed Mephisto and the Essence of the girl. Agatha Harkness banished Mephisto when he absorbed Billy and Tommy back,
Cnthon realized the essence was out, while it was obvious the essence was semi sentimental, Cnthon was trying to collect this essence for himself, but realized it needed to be born to be used. Cnthon took the soul of a man whore criminal named Mark, and mated with a mortal hoping the essence would collect inside one of the woman, he figured this man got around, so he would be bound to have the daughter. And Cnthon was right, he mated with this mortal woman, when the man started going to church with the religious woman Jen. Cnthon decided this was just a bit much, and left the mortal�??s body. When the man started acting up again the woman left him with her hold. And named her Marya.
Marya was not fond of people, but she was really smart, she later started noticing through her years as a preteen she had some latent psychic abilities,
When Mephisto realized this, he wanted the child too it�??s unknown why Mephisto wants her, during her birth Cnthon enhanced her with the dark stone which would give her tremendous abilities,
Marya was in 6th grade when she unleashed her power, when picked on by a bunch of girls, she slowly started to levitate and her eyes turned red and the stone on her forehead showed, and she caused all the kids to choke.
Thinking this was a mutant ability she later was taken to the the school for mutants where she resides now, though she only goes there on occasion.. But Cnthon rein over, and Mephisto�??s hunt for her isn�??t over.
Her mom was remarried to a step dad who�??s abusive occasionally, she once manipulated their memories to forget about her, when she ran away she later resorted their memory when she came back home. She also caused her step dads allergies to spike once permanently, this was in recent years but telekinetically causing his cells to attack each other,
