Scrapper's History

Scrapper was a rogue Jaeger built by a civilian named Kai. It eventually fell into the possession of Amara Namani, who worked diligently to get the Jaeger functional again. After a chance encounter with Jake Pentecost, the pair would flee from November Ajax due to them having been scavenging the corpse of Romeo Blue. Although the initially evaded capture, November Ajax disabled Scrapper with its electrified cables.

With its capture, Scrapper was taken to the Shatterdome, where it remained in storage until the Kaiju reemerged. Scrapper was then hastily conscripted and repaired by Liwen Shao to aid Gipsy Avenger in taking down the Mega-Kaiju. After its deployment, Scrapper would weld a rocket to Gipsy Avenger, who was used as a missile to kill the Kaiju on the slope of Mt. Fuji. Scrapper would extract the pilots from Gipsy Avenger (whose escape pod system was damaged) and leap from the Jaeger before impact. Although it appeared Scrapper was fine after landing, it was too damaged to continue further operations.
