Rusalka Schwagerin's History

Anna Maria Schwagerin was a typical married woman in a remote German farming village during the mid 18th century. Her beauty made the women of the village envious of her and caused the men of the village to lust after her. One day, she went into town to borrow milk, and the cow happened to get sick shortly after. Seeing an opportunity, a group of the villagers pushed the blame onto Anna, declaring her a witch. Anna reached to her husband for aid, but he, who believed that she had been cheating on him, rejected her. She was quickly imprisoned in a cold stone jail cell, with the villagers often abusing and raping her. To avoid scrutiny, those who participated would refer to her wounds as "the marks of the devil", and point to them as signs that she truly was a witch. This would convice even those who initially had doubts that she was, in fact, a witch.

Luckily for her, one day, Mercurius, acting though one of his sensories entered the village. He slaughtered Anna's jailers, and bestowed her with his gifts of sorcery before vanishing. Anna then used the power gifted to her to escape and kill not only those who has accused and tortured her, but every single villager, not leaving a single survivor. Desiring to meet her savior again, she used Sorcery to maintain her youth for over 150 years. However, her sorcery only stopped the aging of her body, not her soul, so eventually her age would catch up to her.

She eventually became a worker at Deutsches Ahnenerbe.

During their conversation, she deduced Valeria's heart reading skill. Afterwards the two went out for a walk, where they happened to witnesses of the fight between SS Officers Eleonore von Wittenburg and Beatrice Waltrud von Kirscheisen against serial killers Wilhelm Ehrenburg and Wolfgang Schreiber, all of which demonstrated superhuman physical abilities. Just then, Reinhard Heydrich, who was onserving the fight as well alongside Karl Krafft, stepped in between the fighters (motivated by Krafft's words), and easily defeated all of them, in an unnatural display of power. After it all was over, Anna was seized as a witness by the Gestapo along with Valeria Trifa and Riza Brenner.

Recognizing Karl Krafft as the man who saved her all those years ago, she decided to join the Longinus Dreizehn Orden, with the intent learning from him how to prolong her life.

She worked at the Ahnenerbe Museum along with Lotus Reichhart for a period of time. It was during this time that he created an impression on her that eventually evolved into a crush. But Lotus died long before that evolution. The picture to the left depicts Anna with her new life in the fifth world making a move on Lotus.
