Rexiel's History
Rexiel was one of the first angels created by Nades, the god of creations and heaven and hell. He was gifted with a brilliant mind and a compassionate heart, and he devoted himself to serving Nades and his divine plan. He was also loyal to the first ruler of heaven, Zaphiel, who was Nades' chosen representative among the angels.
However, as time passed, Rexiel noticed that Zaphiel was becoming more arrogant and corrupt. He started to abuse his power and authority, and he neglected the welfare of the other angels and the souls in heaven. He also began to plot against Nades, secretly coveting his throne and his glory.
Rexiel was troubled by Zaphiel's actions, but he did not dare to confront him or expose him. He feared that doing so would cause chaos and division among the heavenly host, and he hoped that Zaphiel would repent and change his ways. He also respected Nades' decision to appoint Zaphiel as the ruler of heaven, and he did not want to question his wisdom.
However, Nades was aware of everything that was happening in heaven. He saw Zaphiel's corruption and Rexiel's dilemma. He decided to intervene and put an end to Zaphiel's tyranny. He summoned Rexiel to his presence and revealed to him the truth about Zaphiel's treachery. He also told him that he had chosen him as the new ruler of heaven, because he trusted him and he was pleased with him.
Rexiel was shocked and humbled by Nades' words. He accepted his new role with gratitude and reverence, but he also felt sad and conflicted about Zaphiel's fate. He asked Nades what would happen to him, and Nades told him that he would cast him out of heaven and into hell, where he would suffer for his sins.
Rexiel begged Nades to spare Zaphiel, or at least give him a chance to redeem himself. He reminded him that Zaphiel was once his faithful servant and friend, and that he still loved him despite his faults. He also argued that banishing him to hell would only make him more bitter and hateful, and that it would not serve the purpose of justice or mercy.
Nades listened to Rexiel's plea, but he did not change his mind. He told him that Zaphiel had crossed the point of no return, and that he had rejected his grace and forgiveness. He also told him that he had to respect his will and his judgment, and that he had to be ready to face the consequences of his choice.
Rexiel realized that he could not persuade Nades, nor could he disobey him. He bowed his head and said that he would do as he commanded. He then followed Nades to confront Zaphiel, who was already preparing for a rebellion against Nades.
A fierce battle ensued between Nades and Zaphiel, with Rexiel by Nades' side. Zaphiel fought with all his might, but he was no match for Nades' power. He was defeated and captured by Nades, who then pronounced his sentence: he would be thrown into the lake of fire in hell, where he would burn forever.
Rexiel watched as Zaphiel was dragged away by Nades' angels. He felt a mix of emotions: relief, sorrow, anger, pity, guilt. He wanted to say something to Zaphiel, but he did not know what to say. He only saw Zaphiel's eyes, full of hatred and despair.
Nades then turned to Rexiel and gave him a crown of light. He told him that he was now the ruler of heaven, and that he had to lead the angels in peace and harmony. He also told him that he had to guard heaven from any threats or enemies, especially from hell.
Rexiel accepted the crown with awe and gratitude. He thanked Nades for his trust and his grace. He also asked him for his guidance and his blessing. Nades smiled at him and said that he would always be with him and support him.
Nades then left heaven and returned to his realm. Rexiel was left alone in heaven, with the crown on his head and the responsibility on his shoulders. He looked at the sky above him, where he saw a bright star shining in the darkness.
