Ransom's powers and abilities

• Black Hole Heart: Ransom has a black hole in the place of his heart.
  
  
• Superhuman Strength: Valentin possesses some degree of superhuman strength which depends on the type of attack absorbed by the black hole in his chest. In the past the bullets that were shot at him when he was held for ransom were seemingly absorbed by his body, making him strong enough to knock
Wolverine (Logan) down with one punch. He can also absorb energy from sword thrusts and then channel the black hole energy in his chest into his fists and unleash a powerful blow to his opponents.


• Superhuman Durability: Valentin has some degree of superhuman durability. He has been shown to be strong enough to withstand energy blast from the Eye of Agamotto, even indirectly absorbing its energy.

• Hand-to-Hand Combat: Since he grew up on the streets for many years, Valentin is quite good in street fighting and boxing.
