Octavia Vermis's History

The daughter of long-deceased Hydra Commander Otto Vermis, Octavia ran on her own ambitions, one of which placed her in conflict with her father's killer: Jessica Drew. Octavia held no resentment for the action, instead focusing on taking the research her parents worked on that granted her the Spider-Powers she has. Octavia battered Jess, who attempted to steal near extinct spiders from her warehouse for the aforementioned research, and proceeded to follow her to her mother's laboratory in Wundagore, Transia. After a short siege of the facility, Octavia used the truth of Miriam's being a clone to momentarily delay the Drews and take the research. But on her attempted abduction of Rebecca, Miriam sacrificed herself to hold Octavia back and seemingly killing both in a self destruct blast of the facility.

Ovtavia later showed up alive during Knull's invasion and after finding Jess locked up by the other heroes in a Hulk Tank, she offered to free her and offering to help her find a cure for her condition.
