Obsidian Fury's powers and abilities

Remote Control - The kaiju brain operating Obsidian Fury allowed it to be controlled remotely over vast distances.

Armoring - Obsidian Fury's armor was able to shrug off the massive shells fired at it by the harbor defense guns in Sydney.

AKM Salvo-Launchers - Located in the mech's shoulders are a pair of rocket launchers (one in each shoulder). Although not powerful enough to puncture Gipsy Avenger's armor, these dumb-fire rockets are strong enough to stagger jaegers and severely damage infrastructure.

Particle Charger - Located in Obsidian Fury's chest is a plasma charger, a beam weapon that can burn through a jaeger's armor and force them backwards.

Plasma Chainsaws - Obsidian Fury's most iconic weapons are its dual plasma chainswords that emerge from its wrist mounts. These are more powerful than the sword originally used by Gipsy Avenger, capable of cutting it off.

Signal Jammer - Obsidian Fury is equipped with a signal jammer that was able to scramble communications all across Sydney during its rampage there.

Obsidian Fury's weaknesses

Adaptability - While Obsidian Fury is quite capable in a fight, an opponent that attempts to fight it in unorthodox ways can confuse the hybrid and defeat it.
