Noxar (Xytherra: The Fractured Worlds)

Noxar's History

Born in the Charred Chasm of Despair, a realm of perpetual twilight and ash, Noxar emerged as a being of dark potential and relentless ambition. As the elder brother of Arzel the Voidspire, he sought to master the shadows and manipulate the very essence of souls, while Arzel embraced chaos.

From an early age, Noxar was captivated by the art of soul manipulation, learning to extract and harness the life force of the fallen. His mother, Morrigan, a powerful demoness, nurtured this fascination, teaching him ancient rituals that bound souls to his will. This knowledge allowed him to rise swiftly among the ranks of demonkind, earning the title “Soul Reaver” as he became feared for his ability to harvest souls from both the living and the damned.

As the realms of darkness began to fracture under the weight of constant war, Noxar found himself at the center of a conflict that pitted him against his brother, Arzel. While Arzel thrived in the chaos of destruction, Noxar believed in establishing order through fear and control. Their paths collided during the Night of Scorched Shadows (P.A. 500 B.C.), where Noxar emerged from the chasm, igniting a fierce rivalry that would define their destinies.

Though often overshadowed by his brother’s chaotic fame, Noxar remains a formidable force, driven by a desire for power and the haunting echoes of the souls he has claimed. His quest is not only for dominance but also to forge his legacy in a world teetering on the brink of eternal darkness.
