Mrs. Garison's History

Mrs. Garison was one of the ghosts that resided within the Old James House. Her spirit was tied to a wardrobe.

In life, Mrs. Garison was a relative to the Clock and she suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder (commonly called Multiple Personalities Disorder), waking up every morning convinced she was a different person. At some point in her later years she arrived at her wardrobe convinced she was Judas Iscariot and promptly hung herself within the wardrobe in her grief. This wardrobe would then house her spirit from then on.

At some point, the wardrobe was stolen from the Old James House and hidden away. She would be returned to her rightful place by Ami some time after Old James was brought back. During System Disrupt's attack upon the House, Mrs. Garison agreed to lend her power to Ami so she could animate the house and do battle with the aggressors. When the House was forced into the ocean, she stayed within.

Mrs. Garison would largely remain inactive until Ami, Buzz and Rip returned to the House for the showdown with the Nuclear Bastard. During the battle she would use her abilities to seemingly infinite liminal space around Ami so that she wouldn't be injured or taken out prematurely.

The House would eventually be beaten down by Meg and the Nuclear Bastard. Before they could be destroyed, the Juliette possessed Rip would emerge from their newly formed tunnel with the intention of destroying the House once and for all. This, however, had been Old James's plan all along and he asserted control over the other ghosts, Mrs. Garison included, to subdue his daughter and trap her within the House. Finally reunited with all of its ghosts, the House made quick work of the Nuclear Bastard and Meg before returning to its foundations.

During the final months of the House, Mrs. Garison mostly followed Old James's commands without question. However, she would finally rebel against her oppressor and use her ghostly energy to help power the detonation of the Nuclear Bastard's reactor, which finally freed her from her physical shackles.
