Markus's History

Markus, who was left as a baby at the doors of the Order of Saint Bran, spent at least thirteen years within its walls. Although the boy was neither strong nor special, the elder brothers of the Order were always kind to him.

Days and years passed until something terrible happened: the monastery was attacked by the legions of Varados. Hundreds of thousands of terrible monsters besieged the fortress and the monks of the Order died one after another. And when the mobs of monsters broke into the monastery, they saw a frightened boy sitting in the middle of the courtyard with eyes squeezed shut in fear.

Markus didn't want to die, he prayed that the good brothers would be alive and that this nightmare would end. Suddenly, a pillar of light descended from heaven, scattering all the evil spirits to dust. And the warm wave emanating from him resurrected all the fallen brothers. So the boy gained unprecedented power, bestowed by the heavens themselves.

Since then, Markus, the Shining Paladin, has traveled the world helping people.
