Maria's History

Maria is the first ever hispanic witch born in the Blackwood bloodline, she was the only person who showed very strong genetics of her father's side as not even a gene of her mother showed, except for her gender and personality.

She wasn't so lucky as a newborn since her mother died after giving birth to her from how much risk she had from child birth, because no one was there to take care of her, her father, Juan had to stay with the Blackwood family for a while and look out for her, he had to abandon his family for years, but he was still able to contact them if needed. It felt like it was only him and Maria in their small little world.

Maria was adored by her father, she wished she saw the other side of her family back in Brazil, but she wasn't allowed to even talk about them or communicate with them, Maria always wondered how they would react if they saw her father had a witch for a daughter, the family knew about it and was a little scared of what she would bring in their table with her powers being so lucky that anyone that even dared to bully her with a harmless sentence would've been strangled after a day. Maria was lucky enough to be left alone by the other kids, some even talk to her and befriend her, they asked her alot about her family, her mother, her powers, she was considered the luckiest witch in school, even the principal admired her ability to find ten-leave clovers around her school without trying to do so, bad luck to her wasn't a thing as everything in her life went her way.

It doesn't necessarily mean she turned into a brat, she remained kind and always turned work with proper answers and always studied for her academics for her father to be proud.

In her puberty, something was not right.

It seemed like everyone's luck was getting affected if she "cursed" them by wishing that they get bad luck, proceeding to kill a student from such a horrible day even. She was terrified of her powers, she always thought it was a curse that belonged from her ancestors to punish her wrong-doings.

But what did she do wrong!? Was it the time she accidentally fractured her friend's spine? Was it because she told her teacher he looked like a bullfrog instead of the words "macho man"? Is this all a test? Why was she going through all this bad luck!? Why is she causing people to be against her ability to warp the probability and karma of others!?

As it turns out, it was only her powers awakening and her magic finally being able to show itself, she was destined by her ancestors to be the witch of luck, karma and probability.
