The Superhero Database Classification number, or SHDB Class, is a number that represents the overall 'power' of a character. All traits of a character are used for calculating the Classification.
What it DOESN'T mean
This doesn't mean that a higher class would always beat a lower class character. But the bigger the difference in Class is, the more obvious it is who'll win in a fight.
How is this calculated
( INT^1.3 + (STR*0.5 )^2 + (SPE*0.5)^2 + DUR^1.6 + (POW + (SPS*SPL))^2 + COM^1.8 ) ^ TIER
Super Power Score and Level
Every Super Power has a score (SPS) that is used to calculate the Class. Each Super Power also has 3 levels (SPL). The level is set when connecting that Super Power to a character. The level determines the final score, of the Super Power, being used in the calculation.
If we assume both parties are at their peak with maximum arsenal it would look like this. Two time traveling expert swordsman both equipped with legendary evil vanquishing swords, and both riding motorcycles extremely fast whist shooting arrows at each other until one crashes.
Then it would be a classic swordsman duel. Jack is more proficient and versed in combat, weapons, and fighting styles, and shows extreme adaptability when met with tough opponents, in a swordfight alone I think Jack would have the upper hand. However Link makes up for it in almost every aspect with his arsenal having lots of magic, and thanks to items like golden gauntlets, Triforce of courage, and sheika slate The difference in power and strength levels is enormous. And even if Jack was skilled enough to land a critical blow leaving link with a lethal injury a fairy would just come save his life. The reality is these two would never fight to the death because how similar they both are, they would more than likely enjoy sparing together both of them teaching each other a thing or two. In a wholesome rivalry Jack would be the victor, in a fight to the death jack doesn't stand a chance.
