Kingprotea's powers and abilities

On one hand, Kingprotea is the lowest-ranked of the Sakura Five, but on the other hand, she is the strongest within SE.RA.PH.[4] In the digital world, she has complete unrestricted growth potential, thanks to her Huge Scale skill, which grants her infinite growth.[14] If left unattended, Kingprotea would become a walking disaster capable of consuming SE.RA.PH and the Moon Cell. Eventually, she would become a threat of universal scale that could destroy whole planets, contaminating the ocean of stars.[12][14][15] When BB realized Kingprotea was way too dangerous, she placed a firewall, known as Infantile Regression, around her to restrain her and sealed her away in the Fallen Seraphic Cage. BB then discarded her into the Imaginary Number Space where she could do no harm.[3][4][7][15] During the events of the SE.RA.PH. Singularity, Hans Christian Andersen states that Kingprotea is a monster so awful that even BB threw her hands up pretending not to see it, and so dreadful that even Kiara Sessyoin gave up on it when she planned to take over Seraphix. He further explains that if she were to be released, everyone on SE.RA.PH would be destroyed.[12] According to Kingprotea’s instincts, she feels she can defeat Kiara Sessyoin (Beast III/R), who has become a True Daemon, by surpassing her limits.[3]

Kingprotea in the material world on Earth has her growth restricted by several factors, so her Saint Graph has been ranked down and her minimum height has been reduced to five meters. She constantly is faced with "pressure" from both the Counter Force of Earth and the laws of the material world that has built-in limits.[3][14] Beings are presented with factors like "There’s no longer anything to eat" and "There’s no more growth to be had," so she can experience her vessel being filled.[12] Even in this state she is so powerful that the combined efforts of Siegfried, Summer Nero, Fuuma Kotarou, Katsushika Hokusai, Mash Kyrielight stand no chance against her. Mash states that she could hold Kingprotea back for a while thanks to being a Shielder. Thanks to Passionlip arriving to aid them, they manage to defeat Kingprotea.[13]

Combat

Kingprotea grows larger with every passing second, so the more a fight drags on, the greater advantage she will get. That is why Hans Christian Andersen recommends to blast her with a full power attack right from the start in order to defeat her. That way, she will take damage faster than the speed at which she is growing. Another option, though Hans doesn't recommend it, is to hold out for as long as possible, since even a monster such as Kingprotea has limits. He says that there should be a moment of vulnerability when she's transitioning to her next growth phase.[12]

The interior of Kingprotea’s body is a sea of Imaginary Number Space that even the “First” BB can’t grasp. It is impossible for someone who has been devoured by her to return to the outside world.[6] She can also send the people she eats to her "heart", where her true form bound by BB's curse lies.[7] The skill restraining her heart is so strong, that it can be seen by the naked eye, taking the form of electricity.[7] Having had that curse in her heart for so long, Kingprotea managed to analyze it to the point she could use it on others,[9] as seen when she attacked Tamamo-no-Mae with a portion of it.[7] However, being an expert on casting curses herself, Tamamo was able to repel it without much difficulty.[7] Having gained such a deep understanding of the curse binding her, Kingprotea was able to undo it herself thanks to "First" BB using Domina Coronam to prevent Hakuno Kishinami from escaping the Bug Space after having summoned Tamamo with a Command Spell. This chain of events created an alteration in both Domina Cornam's field and the Bug Space, linking them both to the normal time axis. Thanks to this, Kingprotea was temporarily detached from the Cursed Field.[9] Kingprotea wouldn't have been able to do this were it not for her extraordinary strength, the fruit of her Grow Up Grow skill, which allowed her to break through the seal with sheer strength.[10] With the Infantile Regression skill that served as Protea’s shackles undone, she got free from Kazuradrop's control.[8]

Even under the influence of the Curse implanted by BB restraining her infinite growth, Kingprotea is completely abnormal - something on the level of a natural disaster.[5] Normally, as with Amaterasu, a group of several Servants working together would be needed just to have a chance at beating her.[2][5] Her natural enemy is Passionlip, as in theory, Lip’s Trash & Crush skill makes it possible to seal Kingprotea away. The Alter Ego sisters seem to enjoy a triangular power relationship where Passionlip beats Kingrotea, Kingprotea beats Meltryllis, and Meltryllis beats Passionlip.[4] Without the seal restraining her, she becomes able to grow endlessly, and thus, Kazuradrop’s Bug Space is unable to miniaturize her. No matter how much Kazuradrop tries, it is futile, and it just increases the risk and burden on her. Kazuradrop states that she is an opponent with the worst possible compatibility for her.[10] Kazuradrop used BB's shadows and Meltryllis' All Drain to momentarily restrain Kingprotea, but they were still ineffective against her great physical strength. Kazuradrop took this instant to activate Domina Coronam so that she could buy herself just enough time to widen the distance between them. Once she was at the right distance, Kazuradrop used Trash & Crush on Kingprotead, successfully terminating her.[11]

Class Skills

Grow Up Grow (EX Rank): This is her cheat skill Experience Point Bonus further evolved by going out of control “Experience Point Bonus” is supposed to increase the amount of XP gained from battle by a certain percent, but Kingprotea further hacked the skill so that she is "Always gaining Experience Points."[2][4] Although this skill seems rather threatening, there is an upper level limit set for all programs. Anyone who obtains this skill can effortlessly achieve the highest level in the game; however it only increases the target’s level, and does not improve their stats. If you compare a character who achieved max level through fair play to a character who used this cheat skill to achieve max level, the cheater character’s stats will be far lower. This is, in other words, a so-called “trap skill.”[4] Thanks to the strength this skill grants Kingprotea, she was able to break through the strengthened firewall that Kazuradrop had prepared in anticipation of a surprise attack from Julius B. Harwey to the Bug Space as if it were a fragile piece of paper.[10] Even when she is reset to level 1, her "newborn" state, she's powerful enough to create a gravity fluctuation.[12]

Mad Enhancement (A+ Rank): Protea, being a giant and a harmful existence to the world no matter how favorable she is with humans, can’t share her values with humans in the fundamental parts. Protea’s acknowledgment of thinking that she’s not big but the surroundings are just small, and that she’s not strong but the surroundings are just weak, is nothing but a disaster for humanity.[3]

Independent Action (B Rank): Protea, who has a powerful Mana Core, can preserve her own Saint Graph even without a Master. For Protea, the Master is not 『a necessary keystone to bound her / a source of mana supply』, but just 『the one who summoned her』. In the case that a Master succeeded in summoning her in a Holy Grail War, the 『duty to supply the Servant with mana』 would disappear for that Master. It depends on the Master whether they see it as an advantage or as a predicament.[3]

Territory Creation (EX Rank): She possesses an abnormal Territory Creation skill. Protea herself, who keeps hypertrophying her own Saint Graph, is a Temple ——— synonymous with a territory.[3]

High-Servant (EX Rank): Alter Egos are complexes of multiple goddesses, but Kingprotea was made from the essence of the Great Earth Mothers common to all mythologies.[2][3] She has the essence of Titania (Titan), Airavata, and Tiamat, but her true nature… The Cerebral Corpus sleeping in the interior of her Saint Graph, is said to have the figure of a childish little girl.[3]

Divine Core of the Goddess (A Rank): A skill that represents that one is a perfected goddess since birth. It has the effect of preserving the absoluteness of mind and body. It mitigates most mental interference / no persuasion would change her perception, and the body doesn’t grow / no magecraft can make her body human-sized.[3]

Personal Skills

Huge Scale (EX→C Rank): An id es skill born from Growth Desire that evolved from using Self-Modification as a base. It enables unlimited expansion of Kingprotea's size and scale.[2][3][4] Due to limitations imposed by the force of gravity on Earth, life forms have an upper limit on their size. Even in the sea, the size of a whale is more of less as big as it can get. The same goes for buildings, due to limitations of construction technology and financing; there is nothing that can be infinitely enlarged. This also holds true in the cyber world where the laws of physics don’t apply. All programs have a limit on their level, and no matter how greatly a program excels, in order to surpass its boundary it must separate and optimize itself. (As a rule, when a program gets bigger the speed of communication with the hardware terminal drops, so a program needs to be split into various specialized parts. So called Divine Spirits are an example of this, having successfully split up their processes into multiple avatars.) However, the owner of this skill, Kingprotea, can grow without end.[4] When her level exceeds the limit, she expands the boundary herself and sets an even higher max limit. This can be repeated infinitely.[2][3][4] Kingprotea has no desire to complicate things, it’s just that she has specialized in “swallow” therefore she is unable separate from her ability to enlarge which is vital to her specialization. The result is that she is unable to create duplicates of herself (avatar) that are of normal size and limitation, and as a lone Ego she is destined to continue to enlarge. If left alone, she will end up becoming a disaster on a universe scale capable of destroying planets, however she would not destroy the universe itself. This is because the speed at which the universe is expanding is faster than the speed at which Kingprotea is enlarging.[4] Since the more she is gigantified the more the complexity of intellect · functions is lost, an ordinary intelligent being would be unable to endure this skill, and would self-collapse.[2][3] In the past it was an EX rank out of the norm, but Chaldea’s summoning system can’t recreate it and it’s ranked-down. The maximum HP increase from the turn it’s used. This is permanent until Infantile Regression is used.[3]

Infantile Regression (C Rank): Shackles put by BB.[3] A safety device that suppresses the infinitely growing Kingprotea. Once Kingprotea’s age (Saint Graph) has surpassed a predefined value this curse restores her to the state she was in at a younger age, and resets the hypertrophied self. It’s a protective process that prevents her from ever reaching an adult age.[3][4] The opposite of aging. This curse starts to take effect when Kingprotea reaches age 20, and restores her back to her 8 year old state. When returned to the age of 8 her growth resumes again, so this cycle is a repeating loop.[4] Using it turns the extra maximum HP obtained by 『Huge Scale』 to zero, gains NP depending on the reduced HP, and speeds up the skill charge. Protea keeps shrinking if 『Infantile Regression』 is used after Huge Scale, but miniaturization beyond the default value of 30 meters is impossible.[3] Endlessly repeating this loop caused Kingprotea to lose his mind.[7]

Area Crushing (C Rank): Changes normal attacks to AoE damage. The vast range attacks that large size enemies or above have. If Huge Scale reaches an extreme, she would display enough suppressive power to attack not enemy individuals, but the space itself. (Not used in Fate/Grand Order)[3]

Monstrous Strength (EX Rank): The average 『Monstrous Strength』 skill that 『demonic entities』 represented by Anti-Heroes have. But Kingprotea using it, that alone, makes her a threat. At the moment, the only Servants that have Monstrous Strength at EX Rank are Tiamat and Kingprotea.[3]

Self-Suggestion (EX Rank): Suggestion applied to oneself. A skill that raises resistance against mental interference. At A rank "I do not age = Truly stops aging" level of assumption is possible. At EX level, whatever is going on in that mental world is outside of understanding.[2]

Noble Phantasm

Originally, Kingprotea doesn't possess a Noble Phantasm.[2] In fact, Her self can be treated as a Noble Phantasm,[2] in specific, her Huge Scale skill essentially qualifies as such.[4]

As a Servant of Chaldea, it has become possible for her to display a separate Noble Phantasm, known as Airavata King Size, in exchange for her Saint Graph being ranked down. With this ability, Kingprotea temporarily gets rid of the pressure on her body caused by the Counter Force and the lawas of physics of the material world. This manifests as a Reality Marble in which Protea uses the Mana Core in her interior, deploys the cybernetic world SE.RA.PH, and returns to her original size.[3]
