King Kobra's History

Pre-Transformation

Eugene was originally working as a Geneticist on a project concerning the use of a particular snake's venom to find a cure for a chronic disease. They attempted to breed and genetically alter the snakes to more effectively produce the curative property. Eugene, the whole time, was planning on stealing the specimens to sell them. However, unfortunately, only one specimen managed to hatch. When it was older, all Volunteers the venom had been tested on died no matter what dosage was applied to them, as the attempts to remove the venomous property of the snake venom seemed ineffective.

The study's funding was cut, and Eugene decided that stealing and selling one specimen was enough. However, as he was transporting the snake, it somehow escaped his custody. It would then later bite two individuals, Morris Decker and Edward Decker Jr. Edward Decker Jr died from the bite within the day; however, Morris Decker somehow managed to survive several days, far longer than any of the volunteers. Eugene was intrigued and decided to keep a close eye on the boy, catching the snake before it could bite anyone else.

Eventually, Eugene would happen to witness Morris's transformation and escape from the hospital. He decides to search for Morris over the course of two weeks, wanting to capture him and run tests on his blood and his capabilities. Eugene wants to see how much he can profit off of this. However, he has a significant amount of trouble finding Morris. Out of frustration, he decides to kidnap Morris' parents to lead Morris out to him. Eugene ends up shooting Edward Decker when he attempts to escape.

When Morris eventually finds Eugene and his parents, his father is already dead. This, combined with Morris seeing the snake and putting two and two together, flies into a murderous rage, and with his newfound power, he nearly kills Eugene. Eugene, in desperation, makes a quick calculation before injecting himself with a syringe full of the snake venom. Eugene does not die. Instead, with the much higher dosage, he begins to have a much more volatile and immediate transformation than Morris had. He grows twelve feet, his mass expands, his skin grows a thick and dense layer of scales, his whole body changes shape, and his legs come together to form a long snake body. While the transformation is happening, Morris escapes with his mother, still alive.

Post-Transformation

After his transformation, Eugene began to experiment with his new body and powers. He eventually learned of his hypnotic eyes and hatched an idea. He started recruiting people through his hypnotic eyes into a cult of worship centered around him, a cult that he utilizes to commit crime and further any other goals that he has.
