King Ghidorah's History

King Ghidorah is a universal apex predator that exists above our normal plane of existence and feeds on life-bearing planets. After destroying the Exif homeworld, the remaining Exif began worshipping him as their god. Using technology granted to them by Ghidorah, the Exif spread amongst the stars in search of planets that would satisfy their god's insatiable hunger.

Eventually, the Exif found their way to Earth, where the planet was besieged by a seemingly endless array of monsters. Chief amongst them was Godzilla, who was ravaging the human population. The Exif, alongside the Bilusaludo, offered aid to the beleaguered humans, but even the aliens' advanced technology was incapable of stopping Godzilla's path of destruction. The alliance was forced to flee the planet.

After the search for a new homeworld failed, the surviving humans, Exif and Bilusaludo returned to Earth 20,000 years later. To their shared horror, the planet had been completely terraformed by the victorious Godzilla and was nearly inhospitable to them. After landing, the alliance faced off with and killed what they thought was Godzilla only to discover they had merely killed a juvenile of the species and only managed to incur the wrath of the now fully grown Godzilla Earth. After nearly being wiped out by the beast, the alliance attempted to use the recently found remains of project Mechagodzilla, now Mechagodzilla City, to kill Earth, but this too failed.

Pushed to the edge by these events, the Archbishop of the Exif, Metphies, convinced a group of humans that the Exif god was the only way to stop Godzilla Earth. After conducting a ritual, King Ghidorah consumed those that took part in the ritual and destroyed the Aratrum in orbit. He then descended upon the earth through a trio of black holes and engaged Godzilla Earth. The previously undefeated Godzilla proved helpless against the God of the Void as his attacks were redirected or passed through his opponent harmlessly. Ghidorah began to feed on his foe and it looked as though he would soon be able to consume the planet. Unfortunately, Metphies, who was acting as Ghidorah's anchor to this plane of resistance, was killed and the Garbetrium bead destroyed by Haruo. Having lost his anchor, Ghidorah dissipated and returned to his dimension. Although banished for now, Ghidorah is waiting for his moment to return and resume his devouring of the univerese.
