Kim Bauer's History

Kimberly "Kim" Bauer is the daughter of Jack and Teri Bauer. When Kim was young she, along with her mother Teri, was a target of terrorists Ira Gaines and the Drazen syndicate because of her relation to Jack. She was later the au pair for a young girl whose father turned homicidal. When she grew older, she worked as an intelligence agent/technician at CTU Los Angeles, where she met Chase Edmunds and eventually left CTU with Chase to start a new life. Later on, she started dating clinical psychologist Barry Landes after Jack faked his death and left Kim in the dark but was briefly reunited with her rediscovered, alive father.

Kim married Stephen Wesley and had a daughter named Teri. She learned of a subpoena issued against her father and tried, unsuccessfully, to contact him. When she finally managed to reach him she learned that he had been infected with a lethal pathogen that would kill him within a day or two and decided, against her father's wishes, to undergo a dangerous stem cell treatment that could save his life. The treatment proved successful and neither Kim nor Jack were suffering from any lingering damages of the treatment. Kim, her family and Jack all planned to start a new and peaceful life, though she was forced to leave her father to return fighting terrorism after he was made aware of new terrorist plots.
