Kakashi's History

Kakashi Hatake was born in Konohagakure as the son of Sakumo Hatake, the legendary “White Fang of the Leaf.” From a young age, Kakashi was a recognized prodigy, graduating from the Ninja Academy at 5, becoming a Chūnin at 6, and a Jōnin at 12. However, his childhood was marked by tragedy when his father committed suicide after being ostracized for prioritizing his comrades over a mission, leading Kakashi to adopt a strict adherence to the ninja rules. As a member of Team Minato alongside Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara, Kakashi faced a defining moment during the Kannabi Bridge mission, where Obito was presumed dead after being crushed by a boulder but gifted Kakashi his Sharingan before his apparent death. Later, Kakashi accidentally killed Rin, who intentionally sacrificed herself to prevent Konoha’s destruction, which left him emotionally scarred. These experiences shaped his infamous “Those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum” philosophy. After serving in the ANBU Black Ops, where he gained a reputation as a lethal operative, he became the leader of Team 7, mentoring Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno, ultimately becoming one of Konoha’s most respected and iconic ninjas.
