Jack Norman's History

Il Veltro started out protesting issues like overdevelopment but became increasingly extremist over time. This drew the attention of federal bioterrorism agent Morgan Lansdale. In 2005, Lansdale approached Norman and offered him resources like the t-Abyss virus and ships to carry out a major terrorist attack to justify increasing the FBC's powers and budget. Norman took the deal but was suspicious of Lansdale. Norman coordinated Il Veltro's attack on the city of Terragrigia using the viruses, ships and equipment provided by Lansdale. Over three weeks, they infected and took over parts of the city. However, Lansdale had sabotaged the ships Norman and his men were on. When Norman confronted Lansdale, Lansdale detonated explosives on the ship, trapping Norman and others onboard. Over the next year, as they mutated and died from the t-Abyss virus, Norman and the surviving members of Il Veltro remained trapped on the ship. Norman kept records of their dwindling numbers. When another group raided the ship looking for evidence, a mutating Norman mistook them for enemies and engaged them in combat as the "Ultimate Abyss" monster but was killed. Norman had wanted to expose Lansdale's conspiracy by using recorded conversations, but died before achieving that goal. He went from determined leader to tragic victim of Lansdale's schemes.
