Ion's History

Derrick Barnes was once a promising young scientist, who dedicated his life to creating innovative technologies that could help people all over the world. He was brilliant, driven, and had a vision for a better future. However, his work was always underappreciated, and he struggled to secure funding and support for his projects.

One day, while conducting experiments on a new type of energy source, an accident occurred that left him severely damaged physically and mentally. The machinery which he worked with had fused with his body. In the aftermath, he found himself abandoned by his colleagues and friends, and left to suffer alone. Consumed by bitterness and resentment, he vowed to use his knowledge and skills to seek revenge on the society that had turned its back on him.

He discovered that his new partly robotic body could be weaponized and so he used his research to turn himself into a living weapon. With a newfound sense of purpose, he embarked on a mission to destroy the institutions and individuals that he believed had wronged him.
