Ibaaros

Ibaaros's History

Ibaaros is one of the Darkin, who were once great Ascended warriors until they were corrupted by the Void and Blood Magic.

Ibaaros was renowned as one of the strongest of the Darkin and he chose to side with Aatrox against Xolaani during their war. He was, however, trapped within a massive harpoon by the Targonians and thrown into the sea near what would later be known as the Straight of Daray. There he slumbered with the waters around him warping into darker forms due to his influence, leading to many legends. Eventually, millennia later, Ibaaros would finally be freed by an unfortunate sea creature coming into contact with his prison.

The now freed Ibaaros heeded Aatrox's call and arrived at Mount Targon to fight both the hated Xolaani and Targonians. Ibaaros's strength was, however, not enough to counter Xolaani's magic and he was defeated by the seemingly unstoppable heretic. Once Xolaani's reign of terror was brought to an end by Ryze, Ibaaros slipped back beneath the waves to await his general's next call to war.
