Hound's History

Hound was part of Optimus Prime's Autobot resistance stationed aboard the Ark. When Prime brought an injured Bumblebee back to their concealed headquarters, Hound worried that the neutral scavenger might reveal their location to the enemy before the Autobot leader ordered them to let Bumblebee go. Siege episode 1 Hound later attended Prime's briefing, where the Autobot leader warned them that Ultra Magnus had abandoned the Autobots to try and negotiate with Megatron. Using falsified intel regarding the AllSpark's location, the Decepticons lured the Autobots to the ruins of Iacon and ambushed them, but Hound and the others successfully withdrew and retreated back to their base. Hound was present when Optimus Prime informed the Autobots that the Alpha Trion Protocols had been activated as a result of Ultra Magnus's death, and stood by with the other Autobots as Optimus explained his plan to find the AllSpark . Later, Hound joined Prowl and Ironhide to intercept an injured Jetfire when the ex-Decepticon crashed near their base. Hound joined Optimus, Prowl, Jetfire, and Moonracer on a voyage to the Sea of Rust to find the AllSpark, which soon became a battle for survival against the treacherous terrain and the Sparkless creatures that inhabited the dead zone. Once Prime had secured the AllSpark, Hound and the surviving Autobots returned to Iacon in time to make a stand against Megatron at the recently repaired space bridge portal, a free-for-all battle that ended when Prime put the sacred implement beyond Megatron's reach to prevent the Decepticon leader from weaponizing its life-giving energies. To recover it, Prime took most of his forces aboard the Ark as it flew through the space bridge and on to an unknown region of space. Doubledealer and his crew of Mercenaries found and reactivated the Ark and Hound was taken prisoner along with the other Autobots and shipped to the desolate world of Chaar to meet with the insane Quintesson Deseeus before escaping. Earthrise episode 2 Much later, after the Ark escaped from the Dead Universe, Hound took part in the final three-way battle between the Autobots, Decepticons, and Deseeus over prehistoric Earth, shielding the Autobot ship from the Fool's Fortune before the Autobots and Decepticons crashed on the planet below. As the stranded Autobots took stock of their surroundings, they encountered Optimus Primal and his Maximals, time-travelling Cybertronians from a dystopian future timeline. After Hound briefly put his alternate mode to the test against Rhinox's beast mode, the two factions were able to call a truce and teamed up to retrieve the AllSpark. Hound and Arcee joined the Maximals as they investigated the crashed Nemesis and attempted to cloak their energy signatures while Rattrap broke into the starship to free his comrade Airazor. The stealth mission was only partially successful, however; although the Predacons and Decepticons found the heroes, they quickly fell to infighting and allowed Hound and the others to make an escape. Hound was on board the Ark when it returned to Cybertron with a complement of Decepticon prisoners. After returning to Cybertron, Hound took part in the final battle against a time-travelling Galvatron and Nemesis Prime.
