Hannah's History

Chuck first met Hannah aboard an airplane en route to Paris, when he was sent on his first solo mission. She was his seat mate and they hit it off while chatting. She revealed that she had just lost her job and that she was going to Paris to clear out her European office. Chuck impulsively offers her a job at the Buy More, if she is ever in Burbank, for which she was likely wildly overqualified.

Hannah turns up in Burbank and accepts Chuck's offer to work for the Buy More's Nerd Herd, but Chuck's efforts to train her are repeatedly frustrated by his concurrent spy mission.

Hannah is unknowingly caught up in a spy operation during her first Nerd Herd service call. After Chuck's team steals a mask of Alexander the Great, a Ring operative uses Hannah as bait to force Chuck to return the mask, and the cyclosarin gas being smuggled in the base. She is moments from suffocating when Chuck rescues her. She is profoundly grateful. Hannah reveals that the reason she took the Buy More job is because she was interested in Chuck. She and Chuck begin seeing each other.

When Ellie and Morgan become suspicious about Chuck's frequent disappearances from work, and investigate, they find Hannah making out with Chuck in the Home Theater room. Ellie is delighted that Chuck has a secret girlfriend, but Morgan is dismayed, as he also has an interest in Hannah. Chuck, however, isn't entirely comfortable, and he doesn't know why, so talks to Ellie about it. Ellie points out he may be feeling that way because things with Hannah were moving too fast, and that he still has feelings for Sarah. Once Chuck realizes that he will have to lie to her about his spy life, and that he is no longer able to compartmentalize, he realizes that trying to have a relationship with Hannah would be unfair, especially since Ellie was right.

He ultimately chooses to break up with Hannah, he tells her that there are parts of his life she can't know and she deserves to have someone she can't know completely. He is visibly upset, but Hannah is deeply hurt, thinking that Chuck lied to her just so he could sleep with her, and he cannot tell her the truth, hurting them both.

She quits the Buy More after their breakup and is not seen again.
