Green Lantern's powers and abilities

Starheart Ring - Green Lantern's power ring allows him to create just about anything he can imagine out of the emerald flame emitted from his ring. Although how much he could use this power was limited by the charge from his lantern, this issue has been resolved by absorbing the power source into his body. Now with a seemingly limitless ability to use his power, this Green Lantern's constructs are much more durable and capable of lasting indefinitely (so long as Alan wants them to last). His constructs can also be formed on a much larger scale than before, as shown by his massive country-sized citadel in orbit around the Earth (New Oa). This incarnation's power is enough that he did not consider a Suicide Squad that contained Cyborg Superman, Star Sapphire and a Sinestro Corps Ring powered Lex Luthor to be a threat.

Magic - The Starheart Ring is powered by magic and all of Green Lantern's abilities are tinged with this magical essence.

Experience - Alan Scott has spent his entire adult life fighting crime and leading other super heroes into battle. This accumulated experience makes him a dangerous opponent.

Green Lantern's weaknesses

Wood? - Alan Scott's weakness prior to his power increase was wood, which would shatter his constructs. He is never shown having this weakness, but it is never stated he does not have it.

Yellow? - Green Lantern appears to harbor the Corp's original weakness to the color yellow, but he is also shown blocking objects made of that color without much trouble.
