Godzilla's powers and abilities

Mutated Biology - Godzilla Jr. exhibits much greater abilities than his original parent, capable of battering other kaiju around with ease, running up to 500 miles per hour and taking missile hits that would've killed his parent. Godzilla Jr. can also survive under water for an indefinite amount of time.

Atomic Breath - Unlike his parent, Godzilla Jr can breath a green atomic fire from his mouth that can melt steel and turn sand into glass. Although it rarely defeats an opposing kaiju by itself, it has proven to be a powerful tool in Godzilla Jr.'s arsenal.

Intelligence - Despite outward appearances, Godzilla Jr. is a very capable tactical thinker, often using the terrain to his advantage and adapting to situations as they occur. During his fight with Cretaceous Rex, for example, he burrowed under the opposing beast to destabilize its footing and gain the advantage. Jr. is also a quick thinker, quickly figuring out the distance he needed to grab an out of control train to get it to smoothly come to a stop. Furthermore, Godzilla Jr. has consistently coordinated his actions with his foster father and can understand human speech to a degree.

Godzilla's weaknesses

Toxins - The only reliable way an opponent has been able to get the upper hand on Godzilla Jr. has been through the use of various toxins or otherwise dangerous biological substances.

Protective Instinct - Godzilla Jr. can be forced to act in ways that compromise his position in a fight if his adoptive father or other members of H.E.A.T. are in danger.
