Gideon Jura's powers and abilities

Neowalker - Gideon is a Post-Mending Planeswalker, allowing him to freely travel through the Blind Eternities to other planes without being erased from existence. His Spark also grants him immunities to various corrupting effects and raises many of his base resistances and gives him a much greater mana pool than any average being. Planeswalkers also possess the ability to summon mana duplicates of allies they have made throughout their journeys.

Martial Prowess - Gideon is a talented combatant and military leader, spearheading the formation of the interplanar Gatewatch organization and leading the battle against the Eldrazi on Zendikar.

Hieromancer - Gideon utilizes white mana to fuel his spell casting. His signature ability is a golden invulnerability field he can generate around himself that has stood up to attacks from the Elder Demon Belzenlok and event the Eldrazi. He can extend this field around allies and even whole armies to protect them, although he cannot grant the full invulnerability to them without losing it himself. He also can generate magical chains he can use to restrain enemies and inflict them with debilitating debuffs.

Gideon Jura's weaknesses

Weaknesses of Invulnerability - Although Gideon is nigh invulnerable to physical harm, several opponents have found a loop hole past his defenses. Ob Nixilis once pinned him under water and almost drowned Gideon while Nicol Bolas simply used his far greater magical power to puncture a hole in the field.
