G'iah

G'iah's History

G'iah is the daughter of the Skrull General Talos and his wife Soren. During the Kree-Skrull War, Talos sent his wife and other refugees away with Mar-Vell, not knowing their location for their own safety. Mar-Vell hid them in her Laboratory which was cloaked in Earth's Orbit. Soren gave birth to G'iah there. After Mar-Vell was killed by the Kree, the Skrulls maintained her instructions not to send outside signals under any circumstances. They ended up spending six years in her lab during which G'iah was raised by her mother.

In 1995, Mar-Vell's Laboratory was finally found by Talos, Carol Danvers, Nick Fury and Maria Rambeau. Talos met his daughter for the first time, but the Kree followed them there and rounded up the Skrulls, preparing to execute their prisoners. A fight broke out, during which the Skrull refugees were evacuated to the planet's surface in a Quadjet, while Carol Danvers forced the Kree to retreat. G'iah and her parents temporarily stayed at Maria's house in New Orleans, durign which G'iah befriended Maria's daughter Monica. Soon after, Danvers took them and the other refugees aboard Mar-Vell's Laboratory to a safe planet away from the Kree.
