Niccolò Paganini
( the devil's violinist)

Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840) was an Italian violinist, violist, guitarist, and composer. He was one of the most gifted violin virtuosi of all time. He refused to teach violin or reveal the secrets behind his advanced technique, which frustrated other musicians and fueled rumors of his connection to the devil. Paganini suffered from a throat disease as a child which left his voice permanently damaged. This may have contributed to his focus on instrumental music. His fingers were so flexible that he was allegedly able to play entire passages with only one finger per string. Doctors later found that Paganini had curved and double-jointed fingers, unusually flexible wrists, and overdeveloped arm and shoulder muscles - physical attributes that aided his play. He was left-handed but learned to play violin right-handed due to the limitations of early string instruments. This may have influenced his unusual technique. Paganini owned a legendary Cannone violin made in 1743 by Guarneri del Gesù, one of the finest Italian luthiers. This instrument enhanced his melodic expression. Due to scandals and debts late in life, Paganini's body was denied burial in sanctified ground by the church in Genoa. He was initially buried in Nice. After years of negotiations, his remains were returned to Italy in 1876 and interred in a cemetery near Genoa once the devilry rumors had died down.Despite his rockstar status, Paganini lived rather frugally and dressed simply, donating much of his earnings to the poor in Genoa. His iconic image and incredible skills were memorialized in compositions by Franz Liszt like his Études d'exécution transcendante d'après Paganini.

what is his dark side?

His unprecedented violin technique seemed almost superhuman, with lightning-fast scales, complex chords, articulate pizzicatos, harmonics, and double stops. This defied comprehension.Paganini was secretive about his method and refused students, fueling speculation he'd learned from dark, supernatural sources instead of conventional teaching. He had a dramatic, mysterious stage presence to match his playing, often appearing in black capes with hooded eyes. This aura added to his "man from hell" persona. His fragile physique and unpleasant high-pitched voice from childhood throat disease contributed to a sinister image that didn't match his skills The 19th century was a period rife with superstition, and people couldn't explain Paganini's ungodly talent through usual means, attributing it instead to a pact with Satan. Paganini indirectly encouraged the devil rumors in publicity materials that played on public fascination with the macabre. The church reacted negatively to his success, fanning flames of accusation since his lifestyle and irreligiousness challenged established norms. His notorious womanizing and libertine attitude reinforced beliefs that only the devil could explain his unparalleled abilities on the instrument.

1. Old wooden Chair.

when my sister, Betty and I were still children. our family lived for a while in a charming old farmhouse. we loved exploring its dusty corners and climbing the apple tree in the backyard. but our favorite thing was the ghost we called Mother because she seemed so kind and caring some mornings betty and i would wake up and on each of our nightstands we'd find a glass that wasn't there the night, maybe mother had left them there. she was just worried that betty and i would get thirsty she just wanted to take care of us. among the old arrangement of our home there was an old wooden Chair that we always kept against the back wall of the living room, whenever we were busy watching TV or playing a game, Mother would move this chair forward across the room to us. sometimes he manages to move it all the way to the center of the room. we always felt sad, we put it back against the wall, mom just wanted to be with us. years later. long after we moved out we found an old newspaper article about the original occupant of the house. woman which was a widow she had killed her two children by giving them a glass of poisoned milk before bed then hanged herself. had a picture in the article to the living room of the house, woman hanging from a beam below her, was knocked over on that old wooden chair right in the center of the room.

2. The Cabin

a tourist who decided to go on a lusty journey by himself, which he is not very used to. the whole day was normal. trees and bushes engulfed its surroundings. he liked being on a trail in the mountains, something didn't seem strange to him, by the time he got back to his car he decided that 8 hours of hiking was enough, the sky was already dark and he had to get back quickly, it was strange that he didn't know at all where found and lost. then he began to panic, night had already fallen and all he had was a lantern and he had no idea how to get back, he knew it was too late and too dangerous to continue through the dangerous forest, he began to worry that there there was no place to shelter for the night, he almost luckily came across a ruined Cabin, it was dark, it looked like no one had visited it for years, but he knew it was his only resting place until dawn, especially since the flashlight battery was low , he knocked on the door a few times but no one opened it so he went inside where oddly enough in the center there was a perfect bed for one person waiting for him, he knew that if the owner return, he could explain to him that he was sure the owner wouldn't mind, or possibly dead. so he went ahead and settled into a comfortable bed as he tried to sleep he couldn't ignore the collection of paintings around the room. portraits of strange looking people all peering right at him, each with a sinister smile in their eyes and a look as if they wanted to kill him, shortly after his exhaustion from the trek tired him out enough, he ignored the faces and got up early the next morning and was shocked , that there were no pictures in the room, only windows.
