Fire Monster's History

The Fire Monster first appeared attacking an oil rig in an unspecified location. The H.E.A.T. team soon arrived to investigate, engaging the Monster after it had destroyed Nigel. Initial attacks with freeze guns proved ineffective and Godzilla arrived on the scene. This soon proved to be a detriment, as Godzilla's atomic breath only fueled the creature. Eventually, Godzilla smothered the creature with a massive tidal wave and it went into hibernation under the waves.

Dr. Craven, however, believed the creature could be useful for energy research and retrieved it from the sea bed. Unfortunately, an accident reawoke the monster who then began to battle against Godzilla once again. The military was called in an attempt to suffocate the monster with explosions, but their missiles all detonated too soon due to the heat from the monster. Nigel was then sent in, equipped with containers of nitroglycerine, and successfully pacified the Monster once again. It was then put inside a vacuum sealed ball and dropped to the bottom of the ocean.
