History of Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor

The Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor, also known as the Eta-2 Actis Jedi Interceptor, Jedi starfighter, or Jedi interceptor, was a starfighter used by the Jedi during the Clone Wars. Designed to replace the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, the Eta-2 was a smaller vessel but possessed superior firepower. The ship saw extensive use during the latter end of the Clone Wars by the Jedi Order, most notably by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Master Yoda. Darth Vader would continue to use a modified black variant of the starfighter for several years following the conclusion of the Clone Wars. Five years after the end of the war, a damaged Jedi starfighter was found on the junkyard planet Bracca by two Scrapper Guild members, Prauf and Cal Kestis. Unknown to Prauf, the ship's discovery caused Kestis to recall his past, as he was a Jedi survivor of the purge that shattered the Jedi Order. A grey Eta-2 was hung as one of the many exhibits in the Gallery of Peace in the Coalition for Progress headquarters, which was located on the third moon of Coruscant, Centax-3.
