@Hesperus do you know where the movie verse scales to at its peak and consistently, also middle earth seems to be the size of a continent. Is that true ?

Yes, Middle-earth was somewhat of a huge continent part of a larger world that Tolkien created. includes other continents such as Aman (the Undying Lands).
