Duke Nukem's powers and abilities

Befitting an All-American hero, Duke is supremely physically fit and completely confident in himself and his abilities, accomplishing sometimes superhuman feats through sheer aggression and ruthless combat skills.

Superhuman Strength

Being able to bench press at least 600 lbs, Duke Nukem is a pretty strong man with strength ranging from peak human to possibly being low-level superhuman. He's strong enough to easily overpower many inhuman enemies at melee combat, including cyborg Dukeinators and raging alien Pig Cops. He's also able to rip the head completely off its body using brute strength alone and his Mighty Boot attack is strong enough to decapitate foes.

Superhuman Speed

Duke possesses speed that greatly exceeds that of the finest human athletes. He's fast enough to outrun RPG rockets and avoid lasers and minigun fire. By using steroids, Duke's speed increases 75% for 21 seconds at the cost of restricting him to melee combat.

Superhuman Durability

Duke is extremely resilient, as he can shrug off bullets, lasers, severe explosions from bombs or C4, and even blows from aliens and cyborgs. As seen in the new Duke Nukem Forever DLC, Duke is tough enough to trek unprotected through the hostile surface of the moon, and though he still needs oxygen, Duke can survive in the vacuum of space without a suit.

Expert Marksmanship

Duke is highly skilled in using various types of firearms and explosives, able to wield nearly everything from contemporary weapons like pistols, assault rifles, and pipe bombs all the way to experimental human or outright alien weapons like the Shrink Ray or alien Enforcer Gun.
