Simmons doesn't seem to have any special skills. He looked extremely intelligent, or at least he claimed to be, and was able to handle complex plans, but everything he could count on was nearly limitless. As head of the family had available funds, researchers, tools, bases and soldiers and his high position in the government allowed him to be able to also take advantage of agents like Sherry Birkin. His only personal skill was the ability to be able to adapt any situation to his advantage. After being infected by Carla, he gained several superhuman powers. He retained most of his intelligence, though his sanity was steadily deteriorating, with the effects of the C-Virus becoming capable of transforming into multiple forms with different abilities. Its base was mutated into a quadrupedal creature, often with a long extension at the top that made it look like a centaur, with its human head exposed. In this state, he was able to shoot out of his bones like bullets, with an unlimited supply of ammunition thanks to the virus' regenerative powers, and create a giant blade that had caused severe opponents. Its second form was reminiscent of a tyrannosaurus and possessed no special characteristics besides its enormous mass and resistance. The third form, a vast array of various insects, could absorb biomass from other living things to rebuild damaged parts of your body.
