Death's History

Kuan-Yin Xorn was a member of the X-Men and one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen under the title of Death. He was one of the few remaining mutants that inhabited the last stronghold of the Krakoan settlement of Asteroid K. Kuan and the others were confronted by Rasputin and an unnamed Cardinal who had returned after stealing valuable data from the machine main hub, the Nexus.

Xorn helped skim through the information after Famine was able to unlock the encryption code on the device. The group came upon a nodule containing pertinent information regarding the genesis protocols of the creation of the first Nimrod sentinel. War stated that a direct assault on the machines would be suicide since Percival was no longer among them, but Xorn relished in the idea of a full frontal attack.

Xorn took part in the attack on the Temple of Concordance blowing it up as they made their way in. After taking out the human slaves, Xorn and the others were immediately surrounded by Omega Sentinel and an armada of large Sentinels. Xorn was critically injured leaving him and Rasputin alone after Cardinal was killed. Rasputin threatened to take off Xorn's helmet to expose Omega Sentinel to the singularity in his head but this did not deter her from backing down. Xorn expressed that this was the ending he always expected so he had Rasputin remove his mask opening a huge black hole which pulled in everyone and everything in the immediate vicinity, destroying and killing Xorn and the others in the process.
