Dagahra (Rebirth of Mothra)

Dagahra's History

Dagahra was originally created by the Nilai-Kanai civilization as a way to eliminate their pollution problem by purifying and converting it into marine life. Unfortunately, Dagahra mutated and began producing Barems instead. During the battle that ensued between creation and creators, the Nilai-Kanai were nearly wiped out by Dagahra before an enormous earthquake hit and sunk their civilization. This had the side effect of putting Dagahra into stasis as well.

Thousands of years later, Dagahra was reawoken by the massive amounts of pollution being produced. While feeding off of this, Dagahra attempted to eradicate the last temple of the Nilai-Kanai before he finished choking the world's oceans with Barems. Here he was confronted by Leo Mothra, who initially appeared to have the upper hand. After discovering that water dissipated Leo's attacks, Dagahra exploited this and used a tornado-like attack to cover Leo in Barems. This would cripple Leo and see Dagahra emerge victorious.

After Leo was reinvigorated by Ghogo from near death, Dagahra and Leo Mothra engaged in battle once again. The new Rainbow Mothra proved more than a match for Dagahra, who retreated under water again to try to use that to his advantage again. Unfortunately, Leo would transform into his Aqua form and battle the pollution monster under the waves. With Dagahra near defeat, Leo turned himself into miniature versions of himself and flew into Dagahra and killed the beast.

Dagahra would reappear in the Anigoji timeline where he would attack Australia.
