Connor Gorbins is the reluctant yet resilient protagonist of Peculiar High School, a character defined by quiet strength, emotional suppression, and untapped potential. Born a gremlin but lacking the typical “curse” aura of his kind, Connor grew up as an outsider, hardened by hardship and isolation. He learned to suppress his emotions and innate powers, burying his true self beneath a stoic and seemingly indifferent exterior. This suppression gave rise to Shadow Me, a separate conscious entity that represents the emotions and passion Connor has long denied.

Connor’s outward demeanor often makes him appear lazy or unconcerned, but this masks an inner turmoil and a profound need for purpose. His journey is one of self-discovery, as he learns to reconcile with Shadow Me and embrace the harmony between his suppressed emotions and his disciplined willpower.
