Well when you read about them by reading the books then the misconceptions about them being 'more powerful characters and too much Overpowered' is not clearly true. WOD is a rpg game not SCP or creepypasta. They focuses on lore and the world building for rpg gaming experience not too much about making op character and another op character fight like Dragonball and Marvel. There are like rules the characters need to abide by in verse. A good example is the Ascension War where powerful mages need to influence humanity by manipulating them through mages charisma and ideology about how the world works of sorts and they can't just energy blast humanity to submission and cannot do anything they wants because consensus doesn't allow that and humanity unwittingly have a part in the consensus. Even so called gods are in a consensus hierarchy. WOD characters even when powerful , their powers has its complexities. You may not like it because it not suited your tastes but I'll suggest a WOD book to you. Read World of Darkness - Mage - Testaments of the First Cabal.

WOD actually has good lore and it doesn't focus too much on making powerful characters. The Creators of WOD focuses a lot on world building and lore solely for rpg game purposes. Even the creators put some limitations to the powerful characters in WOD for game purposes too. They know too much focusing on powerful characters can ruin the rpg games.

Defenders Beyond Comic makes it clear that TOAA(Kether in Kabbalistic terms)is one of the aspects/emanations of the greater Unknowable Being which is referred to as the Marvel Godhead (in Kabbalistic terms, Ein Solf). So now, TOAA being supreme and omnipotent of the Marvel Verse is possibly retconned in a way ig.
