Five characters I thought the MCU did better than the comics.
Iron Man- RDJ's personality and charisma made the character much more likable and iconic. Pre-2007 the character was kinda seen as B-list hero and a drunken douch.
Thor- the MCU made a smart decision getting rid of the Donald Blake persona because it made the character more easy to follow.
Wong- changing him from Doctor Strange's sidekick and one dimensional valet to more of his mentor/ally was also a smart move.
Thanos- the Mad Titan's motivation is easier to follow compared in the films to the comics where he's simping over Lady Death.
Black Widow- ScarJo made her a more entertaining character where she's was kinda boring in the comics and don't get me started on the Ultimate Marvel version.
Iron Man had been stone cold sober for decades by that point. Still calling him a drunk makes no sense. He was also seen as pivotal in uniting the people in line with superheroes with the SRA.
Thor also got over his Donald Blake persona decades ago.
