Cal's powers and abilities

Artificially Enhanced Physiology: Thanks to his formula, Zabo could partially transform himself into a mostly huge humanoid, extremely resilient to physical damage. In this form, non-lethal weapons such as the I.C.E.R.s have absolutely no effect on him, and even lethal force barely slows him down. Also, his strength increases remarkably, as he can toss around extremely heavy lab equipment with no effort, and can break Jiaying's spine with a hug.

Enhanced Strength: Calvin Zabo showed physical strength that exceeded that of an average man, being capable of easily killing a man with his bare hands and breaking a HYDRA operative's neck by lifting him and tossing him on the floor. Derived from experiments Zabo performed on himself, hoping to protect his daughter after her mother's death, his strength allowed him to toss a now transformed Raina to the ground, even though she had him by the throat, once he got enraged when she insulted his daughter. Even when Coulson pinned him to a wall with a S.H.I.E.L.D. SUV, Zabo began to push the vehicle back and Coulson had to resort to keeping him in place with an Electronic Battering Ram. He threatened to rip Coulson's voice box out of his throat and snap his spine like celery, and while he was still pinned he easily tore off the vehicle's hood and threw it at Coulson. He eventually managed to free himself by pushing back the S.U.V. and the battering ram.

Enhanced Durability: With the formula, Zabo was extremely durable to injuries. Even lethal weapons only slowed him down, and being hit with a car, did not cause any injuries.
