Superhuman Physical Characteristics

Enhanced Strength: His physical power allows him to cleave through giants and crush enemies with ease. His strength rivals even the strongest of Jotnar, able to shake the ground with his warhammer or axes.

Enhanced Durability: He can survive devastating blows from Jotun warlords and withstand the immense cold of Niflheim, shrugging off attacks that would kill most mortals.

Enhanced Speed: Bolverk’s agility allows him to move with speed unnatural for someone of his size, dodging attacks and closing distances with his prey rapidly.

Berserker Rage

When entering a berserker state, Bolverk's power increases significantly, allowing him to punch far above his base strength and durability. In this state, he becomes ferociously resistant to damage, less prone to pain, and capable of dealing far more destruction.

Scaling Feats: Bolverk has slain several frost giants in a single rage-filled encounter, each giant easily scaling to country-level feats of destruction.

Bear Spirit

By invoking his totemic animal, the bear, Bolverk gains even greater power. His already fearsome strength and durability are magnified, and he gains access to a spectral bear form that assists him in battle, granting him the ability to overwhelm even divine opponents.

Feats: The Bear Spirit can tear apart magical barriers and protect Bolverk from divine attacks. It has allowed him to go toe-to-toe with demigods and other divine creatures.

Frost Resistance

Due to his origin in the icy mountains of Niflheim and countless battles with frost giants, Bolverk has developed extreme resistance to cold-based attacks and environments, including magic.

Weapon Mastery

Bolverk is a master of axes, hammers, and other traditional Nordic weapons, which he wields with incredible skill and precision. His attacks are powerful enough to cut through enchanted armor and stone walls.

Battlefield Awareness

His years of combat experience have given him near-perfect battlefield awareness, allowing him to predict enemy movements and exploit weaknesses in their defenses.

Limited Magic Resistance

While not immune to all forms of magic, Bolverk has a natural resilience against spells, particularly frost-based magic and hexes. He can endure magic that would incapacitate lesser beings, but higher-tier magic or divine enchantments can still affect him.

Feats:

Battle of the Frozen Peaks: Bolverk held his own against an army of frost giants, killing dozens with his axes and warhammer. His strength and rage allowed him to stand victorious despite being outnumbered.

Wrath of Skadi: He survived an attack from Skadi, the goddess of winter, who unleashed her froststorm upon him. Though injured, Bolverk was able to resist long enough to retreat, becoming one of the few mortals to survive her divine wrath.

Defender of the North: In a battle against invading forces from Midgard, Bolverk stood as the last defense for his clan, singlehandedly destroying the enemy siege engines and decimating their forces with sheer physical power.

Spectral Bear: When invoking the bear spirit, Bolverk shattered a divine barrier placed by an Asgardian sorcerer, allowing his people to gain entry into an enchanted fortress. The bear spirit has been known to enhance Bolverk’s raw power to levels that rival the lower-tier gods of Norse mythology.

Berserker Vulnerability: While his berserker rage grants him immense power, it makes him reckless and prone to ignoring strategy or defense, which can be exploited by more cunning opponents.

Divine Magic: While he has some resistance to frost magic and lesser enchantments, Bolverk is still susceptible to high-level divine spells or curses.
