Black Widow's History

With the Avengers having four of the five Infinity Stones at the time (Time, Space, Mind, and Reality), the temptation was extremely strong to use them. With her special training keeping her relatively safe from the corruption, Black Widow became the bearer of the stones, keeping them in her own backpack. But when Dormammu arrived, she felt she had no choice but to utilize the four stones, instantly overpowering Dormammu and his army and pushing them back into their own dimension. However, Natasha was finally corrupted by the stones. Realizing the corruption, Black Widow tried to get Thor to fulfill a promise he made earlier, to send her to the Dark Realm. Instead, Thor refused, and along with the other Avengers, coaxed Black Widow to give up the stones. Unfortunately, as soon as the stones separated from her, Thanos arrived, finally completing the Infinity Gauntlet.
