Amara's History

Amara is the daughter of Erasmus, an Ancient Greek sculptor who boasted of having sculpted the marble better than the Gods could scalp flesр. As punishment for his hubris, the Gods have turned his only daughter into a living, immortal statue.

In the modern day, Amara joined the Assassins Cooperative, a group dedicated to bringing down the Aldermen who ruled the world from the shadows for hundreds of years. Their immediate aim was to reclaim the mystical weapons that each of the eight Aldermen had used to alter their form and receive superpowers. Their ultimate goal however was to use the eight weapons to eradicate the suffering and bring peace to the world by destroying all of humanity.

After a Monkey killed the Alderman Bonsai Master in Tokyo, the Co-Op was impressed and sought to recruit him into their ranks. Amara was then present alongside Double-Tap and Dot as they observed Monkey's fight with the Ogre. They helped Monkey and Bryce kill him, claiming Ogre's mace, then took Monkey and Haruka to the Cooperative hideout. There, they introduced themselves and explained the history of the Aldermen and their eight relics, giving both Monkey and Haruka motivation to aid in the Co-Ops cause.

With the help of Monkey, Bryce, and Haruka, the Co-Op was able to kill the last of the two Aldermen and recover their relics. As they prepared to forge the eight relics into a single one and enact their plan, their true goals were revealed, and Monkey refused to follow along and abandoned the Co-Op. The surviving Co-Op members launched their assault on the world from the middle of Times Square. Amara went to the subway underground to stop their enemies from planting an explosive under the relic. She killed many of the assassins, but when she targeted Bryce and turned him into marble, he hugged her before abandoning his body due to his nature of being a ghost. This left Amara restrained by marble akin to her own and unable to assist in the final fight.
